FreeLLM vs Pollo.ai: one flat price vs picking a model yourself
Pollo.ai does not make its own video model. It aggregates over 300 third-party models — Kling, Runway, Veo, Sora, Hailuo and more — behind one interface and one subscription, so you can run the same prompt through several engines and compare. FreeLLM aggregates too, but hides that choice behind one flat price per capability. Which is better depends on whether picking the model is a feature to you or a chore.
What Pollo.ai is actually selling
The value proposition is real: instead of separate accounts and separate bills for Kling, Runway and Veo, one subscription and one credit balance covers all of them, and you can A/B the same idea across engines to see which one nails your shot.
That is genuinely useful if you already know these model names apart and have an opinion about which one handles motion better, or which one is cheaper for a given style. It is a tool for people who want the choice.
The pricing shape
Pollo.ai runs a freemium subscription: a free tier with 20 credits a month (watermarked), a Lite plan around $10/month for 300 credits, and a Pro plan around $25/month for 800 credits with faster, watermark-free output. Annual billing takes roughly 14% off.
A standard-mode video generation costs around 10 credits, but that number moves — professional mode, longer clips and higher resolutions all draw more, and the exact cost depends on which of the 300 models you picked for that run. The plan tells you your monthly allowance; it does not tell you exactly what a given video will cost until you have picked the model and settings.
What FreeLLM does differently
We route to providers too — we do not train our own video model either — but we do not make you choose one to get a price. Video generation is 15 credits per second, full stop, whichever model actually renders it behind the scenes. You know the cost before you click generate, not after you have picked an engine and a mode.
No monthly subscription, no credit allowance that resets or goes unused. Credits are bought once, never expire, and are only spent on jobs that succeed.
When Pollo's approach is the right one
If your work depends on knowing that Kling handles a specific camera move better than Veo, or you need to show a client outputs from three named engines side by side, that comparison is the actual product you are paying for — and FreeLLM does not offer it. We pick a strong default and do not expose the model catalogue.
How to decide
If you want to shop between named models and are generating enough to make a monthly plan worth it, Pollo.ai's aggregator-with-choice is built for that. If you just want a video and would rather not learn which of 300 models to pick, one flat price per second removes that decision entirely — and removes the risk of a subscription tier you outgrow or underuse.
